Background: Dae McCallister is the daughter of a pair of military meteorologists and grew up moving from base to base. By happenstance, she and her family tended to get assigned to towns and stations that would soon get hit by a major weather-based disaster. The combination of her parents profession and her frequent exposure to dangerous weather gave her an odd relationship with weather. She quite loves the science and the sheer beauty and power of the systems but at the same time seeks to find ways to help humanity deal with it better.
While attending college she was crossing the campus one night and took a wrong turn bringing her into a kegger being carried out by a co-ed fraternity made up almost entirely of denizens. By the time anybody realized that she wasn't supposed to be there, two things stopped them from sending her out among the mortals...well three things given the chance to party with a mortal was always welcome.
The first thing was that the fae magic
of mixed pantheons within the kegger had already taken hold within her
and turned her into a dormant satyr just waiting for the legend to erupt. The
second was that Zeus had apparently crashed the party and had engaged
the drunken Dae into a long conversation about storms and weather that
had already become a weird bundle of euphemisms and foreplay.
The
next day, Dae woke up without clear memory of exactly what had
happened. She was pretty clear on having gotten drunk and gotten laid,
but all the supernatural stuff had been reduced to vague sort of weird
fever dreams. She was a bit confused by several people she didn't
remember ever meeting giving her knowing nods as she walked across the
campus. Then there was the fact that her legs seemed to refuse to remain
shaved and her desire to cut loose seemed to have gone through the roof.
Predictably
for a woman that has dallied with any incarnation of Zeus, she produced
a daughter nine months later whom she named Elise. That slowed her down a bit, though with
help from her parents she managed to work it through and got herself on
to a storm-chasing research team for her last year of undergraduate
work.
Description: At origin level, she hasn't started to realize her new nature. She is vaguely aware of the supernatural and has done some research on the various sky and storm gods of various cultures, but like most people it is something that she doesn't feel she's likely to run across just yet. Her legs are especially hairy and there is a heady and primal scent that hangs about her.

Dae has a weird relationship with weather in general. On the one hand she is incredibly passionate on the matter of all things weather and seems to worship the complex interplay of physical and metaphysical forces that affect the state of the atmosphere. On the other hand, she is vigorously researching ways to help people resist the fury of the storm.
Secondary Path: Origin Path: In the Path of Storms – Athletics, Survival, Empathy

Connections: Storm survivors, FEMA, emergency response crews, search and rescue
Access: Emergency Response Centers
Being military meteorologists, Dae’s parents were moved around a few places during her childhood. By happenstance this has brought her into the line of several major storms. She’s lived in small towns wiped out by a tornado, coastal towns truck by hurricanes, seen the aftermath of Mississippi floods, and survived an Alaskan blizzard. This may have affected the way she developed.
Tertiary Path: Pantheon Path: Accidental Satyr Weather Witch – Occult, Persuasion, Culture
Contact: Juniper Gaul, Dryad Grad Student
Connections: The Ultima Fraternity, composed entirely of denizens
Access: Ultima Fraternity House
Dae is a little bit bewildered by the fact that Ultima House considers her a sister. She never set out to join any of the fraternities or sororities but suddenly after that one party she has people just sitting down to hang out with her all the time. She hasn't yet realized that they and she are denizens, so they've been a bit soft on the touch, but they've been making sure she benefits a bit from the safety in numbers. Whenever she figures things out, Juniper is her official sponsor to the group.

- Guide ** - Lieutenants Sharon and David McCallister - Mother and Father
- Sharon and David are dilettante worshippers of the Sky in general and follow a personal sort of devotion to the idea of the winds. It's never produced anything overtly magical though they've attributed their good fortune in surviving so many storms to it. They suspected their daughter had been with a god and have thus been very careful with helping her out with their grand-daughter. They hadn't realized that she'd come out with power herself.
- Asset Skill: Science, Occult
- Stunt: While Sharon and David's jumble of various devotions hasn't produced anything for them directly, in Dae's new supernatural nature has given some of it a trace of power. Once per scene, she may spend 1-3 Successes to add Enhancement 1-3 to create mild local weather conditions that might benefit Dae later.
- Guide ** - Professor Gwendolyn Harris
- The newest bane on Dae's life. Gwendolyn Harris is already looking to be her advisor in post-graduate life. Professor Harris works on the team with Dr. Adrin Winthrop and seems to have made it her purpose in life to make Dae's life miserable. Unbeknownst to Dae, Gwendolyn is an incarnation of Hera and literally does bare murderous intent toward Dae and her daughter though she's carrying it out subtly.
- Asset Skill: Athletics, Empathy
- Stunt: Once per scene, by spending 1-3 successes, Dae can take on a Complication of the same level in order to add equal Momentum to the Black Pool. This Complication will be represented by a physical threat or an alien impulse dependent on circumstances. This has resulted in a few close calls for getting caught up in scandal or a bad accident.
Hero Level
Description: At Hero Level, Dae is quite clearly a satyr and more. She has a pair of gorgeous horns and long, hairy legs ending in hooves. The static of waiting storm and wind hovers in the air about her. She still prefers to dress practically when working, but when at play she's gotten even more prone toward exhibitionism.

Now that she's fully awakened as a satyr, Dae rather appreciates the support of the Ultima Fraternity. They provide her with a lot of resource and people to turn to commiserate with on matters. Granted, most of them don't have an incarnation of Hera with fingers in the back of her brain trying to push her into a scandal of some sort, but even that isn't something they hadn't heard of before.

Dae has figured out who Gwendolyn is and they've come to an agreement. Elise and her parents are off limits and Dae would continue to accept Gwendolyn's authority. So Gwendolyn is still trying to get Dae killed or cast out of society while out on a quest or task. Gwendolyn has made no promises for other incarnations of Hera and Dae has made no problems she won't try to seduce Gwendolyn in response. Gwendolyn thinks she was probably being sarcastic.
