William's
father is a kitsune and both he and his mother are fully aware of it.
William himself looks more or less human, there's only a bit of
sharpness to his teeth and nails that's easy to miss and easier to
dismiss. There is a certain oddness to his way of thinking. Some
would call him moody, but really it's more like his personality is
flexible. He can be playful and easy going one minute and then
become grim and serious the next. He mostly makes use of it but when
he is upset or excited, it can trigger a shift in his attitude. His
values and friendships don't change, but his way of expressing them
can. William is openly bisexual and can be either subtle or
flamboyant about it depending on how his personality leans at the
moment. William is aware of what both Ms Van Hout and Jennifer
Summers are and is part of the Community himself.
Using Illusions:
William can create disguises or
other illusions by making a Difficulty 6 Overcome roll with his
Manipulative Ability. If he fails the roll, he choose to let the
illusion fail or he can take Chi Stress equal to the amount by which
he failed.
William
is creating an illusion of a wall. He rolls his Manipulative and
gets a +1 for a total of 3. This isn't enough to match the
Difficulty of 6, so he takes 3 Chi Stress.
Once
the Illusion is active, roll William's Manipulative again to
determine how easy it is to tell that the illusion isn't real.
However, William gets a +2 to his rolls to create illusions because
of his Artist (Illusion)
Advantage.
William
rolls his Manipulative and gets a +0 for a total of 4. Someone has
to make a Perception roll greater than 4 to realize the wall is fake.
William can create disguises and static, silent
illusions. He cannot yet create mobile or auditory illusions.
