The background of the character is that she was the daughter of a human noblewoman who was seduced by a passing hengeyokai. Given her society considered hengeyokai to be earthbond spirits, she and her mother weren't killed for fear it would offend the gods, but they were isolated. Eventually an adventurer from the west discovered her and quested for permission to marry her (the family may have given him a plausibly difficult quest but wanted the embarrassment gone). As a hengeyokai, she was much longer lived than her husband, and only started adventuring when her children had grown and had children of their own. She's been a basic village priestess for most of that time, not getting out of 1st level until she had no familial duty keeping her in place.
Despite the noble birth, I'm going with a Folk Hero background to deal with the fact that she's long been a wife of an adventurer turned farmer.

Reasoning: The Sun domain was the most stand-out aspect of this character's theme, so that is the reason for the choice of domain. From this point on there isn't going to be much in the way of building a character. The cantrip selections represent a basic attack, a bonus cantrip from the Light domain, Spare the Dying and a very useful cantrip for a village priestess and farmer's wife.

Reasoning: The only choice in this was Ability Score Improvement, which I chose to use to increase Wisdom. Charisma is listed as a stat of secondary importance to clerics, but it doesn't seem to be actually used in any of their abilities, so this character might have a few feats. The cantrip chosen was the divine version of Prestidigitation allowing for a lot of creative uses.
