I wasn't going to do this method of character creation and just leave the Priority Chart and the Life Modules as the methods to examine for Shadowrun until I realized how much the advancement would have changed if I had been dealing with a gorgon who had been a street-samurai. As such, I am going to go ahead and do this. I am also now noticing that there is a 4th method of character creation that I might end up doing by creating a mage so we can have a Shadowrun gorgon with actual petrification abilities.
The point buy character creation gains 800 Karma with which to buy their features from minimum level to where desired. This sounds like a lot but it vanishes very fast because you purchase these using the ramping costs of the character advancement costs. In addition, you also have to spend Karma for money which is going to be very important for a street-samurai version of the character.
An odd thing here, you can take negative qualities to get bonus Karma, but Negative Qualities cost double to remove and Positive Qualities usually cost double to purchase in advancement. That said, with your starting Karma you are assumed to just buy them as normal. As such I am going to assume that in character creation you can use Karma acquired from Negative Qualities to acquire Positive Qualities point for point but otherwise I'm going to spend as if in character advancement.
A side note I failed to consider in the other character creations, but at creation you are only allowed one Attribute to be at the maximum. I accidentally obeyed that rule in the other character builds and will obey it here on purpose. I am marking Karma costs and what order I picked them in in parentheses.
You do still get free points for buying Contacts, but not Knowledge skills.
Another thing to note since it didn't come up elsewhere, cyberware and bioware cost you Essence and if you go down to 0 your body gives out and you die. So that is a limit the way Magic is a limit for Adepts and their power points, something I also failed to notice.
