40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
Pessimistic Optimist. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.-
41. What is your greatest fear?
Unintended consequences-
42. What are your religious views?
Non-religious, mother is Hindu, father is Catholic. She has a bit of a mix, but doesn’t really think about it much. She will jokingly suggest she’s bisexual because of unresolved past lives.-
43. What are your political views?
Liberal authoritarian. Believes that tyranny, political and legal corruption are signs of a weak government rather than a government that is too strong. -
44. What are your views on sex?
Cheyenne is decidedly more casual on sex than either of her parents would like, but they consider it a mild vice. She’s never had sex with someone she didn’t already know, and of the five people she’s slept with, three became (or had-been in Dale’s case) long-term relationships. She has been “cheated on” though since both she and the other lover were aware of each other neither views it that way and Cheyenne stepped aside when the other two got married, remaining friends. She dislikes the promiscuous bisexual trope especially as people will point to her sexual history and tolerance of “cheating” as proof when most of her accusers have had more than twice as many lovers as she has (5, only 2 of which were one-night stands) and have legitimately cheated on lovers as well.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
She has received the basic required training for a full police officer in terms of self-defense and firearms, but she has not killed yet. Though she has had to defend herself from aggressive prejudice or sexual harassment in the past.-
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
Deny the worth and humanity of other people. This, she believes, leads to all the other sins against one’s fellow man.-
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
People getting married to different people across lives is a thing, so a particular mated soul doesn’t seem like it would be the normal. But true love is possible and she thinks she’s had it twice and failed in dealing with it both times. -
48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
Honesty with yourself, discipline, dedication, confidence, courage, and support.-
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
She is cautiously honest with people. She won’t lie, but also will avoid certain subjects especially with strangers. She also knows how to lie in pursuit of a suspect in chat rooms and the like. She prefers to keep her online-persona non-gendered.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
Cheyenne isn’t aware of it consciously, but she tends to react poorly to people that fit the standard sexuality stereotropes. She has little to no understanding about how low the educational standard is for most people in the States and thus is impatient with people who don’t know what she considers basic knowledge.-
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
She will not sleep with a married person or lie under oath. These are sacred promises that she will not see broken because of her. -
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
After seeing Lydia end up institutionalized due to stress related to her missing younger brother, she will do whatever possible to protect family and friends. She won’t stand back and tell herself “not my place” ever again.-
