Access to Hospitals: Because you are a doctor, you have access to medical facilities. In this case you have a supply of morphine. This can be used to allow a person to ignore the consequences of being Hurt or treat Seriously Wounded as Hurt.. This benefit goes away if the subject is injured again.

Description: Dr Anton's family name used to be Antonesque before they came to America from Eastern Europe. As he grew, he saw his mother waste away due to some unspecified ailment that worsened by the superstitious accusations of their neighbors. He began to study medicine as a way to peel back the superstition and find a way to treat people like his mother, who died while he was in the Great War. He was supported through college by the Olmstead family and now that Richard Olmstead has gone missing, he's looking to repay their generosity by helping them out a little. He's known Mason and Sarah for quite sometime and has been willing to take on the ex-nun, Ming-Wen as a nurse with some reservations. He didn't expect his old Latin professor to invite herself along however.

Abilities


Improved Fiirst Aid – First Aid can be used to recover a person's health if they are Hurt (0 to -5 Health) at a Difficulty 3.

Because you are a doctor, you can cause another character to regain 3 Health points for every 1 First Aid point you spend, or recover your own Health at 2 Health per 1 First Aid. You can only recover a person to one-third their normal max Health.

If someone is Seriously Wounded (-6 to -11 Health) then they need a hospital to regain Health but you can stabilize them with a Difficulty 2 First Aid Test

Psychoanalysis – You can perform a Psychological Triage. First you must make a Test at Difficulty 4. If you succeed then you can spend Psychoanalysis points to give them back 2 Stability for each 1 point you spend. Points spend to pass the test do not count toward recovery. You cannot perform
Psychological Triage on yourself.

You can also spend 2 points of Psychoanalysis to calm a person acting irrationally. You must past a Difficulty 3 Test to be successful. Points spend to perform the action do not count toward the success.

Preparedness – You are an expert at predicting the things you might need. If you come across an obstacle that a particular object might allow you to move past, you can perform a Test to see if you have it. This depends on the narrative credibility of the item being requested being on hand. Some obvious things (such as a doctor's bag) will not require a test. Some items the Keeper will simply forbid.

Firearms – You can spend 2 Firearms pts to attempt to take a shot that goes past the normal range of the weapon being used. This would be long range with a pistol or up to 500 yards with a rifle. The 2 pts do not add to the chance to succeed, they only make the shot possible.
